Business Activity Statement (BAS)

NJM & Co Financial Solutions Pty Ltd are an authorised BAS service provider In Accordance With (IAW) the Income Tax Assessment ACT 1936, Part VIIA, Division 7, subsection 251L(6). Many business owners would not be aware that bookkeepers generally cannot perform BAS services for a fee. IAW Australian Taxation Office (ATO); "It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly charge a fee for the provision of tax services if you are not a registered tax agent or a person eligible for an exemption. Offenders can be prosecuted and fined up to $22,000 for a breach of this law." NJM & Co Financial Solutions Pty Ltd are provisioned to charge a fee for BAS services IAW above Federal laws under the jurisdiction of a registered Melbourne tax agent.
